Ignoring Perfection

People walk around like the world
Is fine and grounded.
I stare at them,
And see nothing but nonsense.

How it kills me to know,
That few care about their surroundings.
How it kills me, that they
Can’t see the beauty
In the natural things around them.

Dare to find perfection,
In the kiss of a leaf with its lover the tree.
Dare to hear the song,
That the steps of a snake make,
When it weeps.

Don’t take for granted
What is given for free!
Stop-
-Valuing nonsense,
Which they charge you to see!
